A Trip Down Memory Lane... All About Steph

As we approach the end of (a very wet) July it is Stephs turn to share some of her fondest childhood memories.

What was your favourite song/band/type of music growing up?

I loved bands like Oasis, The Libertines and Travis.

What was your favourite game/activity?

I played netball for school, club and my district.

What were you like when you were at school? What subjects were good/bad at?

I was good at school and only got in trouble for talking.  I was good at PE and English but I hated Maths.

“When I was young”...

I managed to re-break someone’s leg while visiting my Grandad in hospital. The man’s leg was in traction and I pulled the lever which released his leg causing him to scream with pain.  I cried and my mum was mortified!

Tell us a random fact that no one knows about you...

I’m a netball coach and have coached primary, high school and university teams.

What is your secret talent/party trick?

I have an amazing memory for dates, times and recalling what people were wearing!

What is your favourite memory of working at the Youth Agency?

Everyone getting dressed up for the Halloween party.

If you could invite anyone along to the Pyramid for a night who would it be and why?

David Beckham – everyone loves him!

Why/how did you become a Youth Worker?

A friend told me told me about what a great place the Youth Agency was to work so I applied for a job.
