Our Sexual Health and Relationship Education (SHARE for short) block with S4 pupils at Forrester High School has recently ended.
This block of work always proves to be lively and thought-provoking for young people and workers alike. This year girls and boys were separated into different groups. Doing this allowed us to focus activities around the needs and interests of the young people taking part and meant that young people could be more comfortable and open.
This year activities focused on respect and choices in relationships, first sexual experiences, pregnancy, consent and local services. We hope that young people enjoyed the sessions and found them interesting. Workers will continue to be in the school to offer additional support at the lunchtime health drop-in and we will continue our work with pupils in fifth year.
